How We Work: Step 1 (The Deep Dive)
We start with a “deep dive” into your commercial landscape, capturing clear definitions of customer needs and the buying process of each customer segment. We then compare the new offering to the legacy solutions to confirm that a “rational buyer” would receive an attractive risk/reward tradeoff for embracing the new solution. We identify the customer segments where this offering is compelling and the segments where effort is unlikely to yield results. We leverage all that we have learned to develop “stories” that can be conveyed to target customers, partners, recruited employees and investors. In a world where everyone is overworked and overstimulated, we need powerful stories to “cut through the clutter” and make obvious the benefits of considering new solutions. And we develop strategies for influencing the emotions of the target buyer, because the idea that most companies make rationale buying decisions is entirely a myth.
